Unfortunately, due to “silly” liquor laws in Ontario Rosie isn’t allowed to sell alcohol herself. This means that event hosts are responsible for acquiring a Special Events/Occasion Permit (SOP) from the AGCO and are required to purchase alcohol from the LCBO, Beer Store, Wine Rack, or any licensed private liquor retailer in Ontario so we can legally serve up alcoholic beverages. Sounds more confusing than it is, but don’t worry we’re here to help!

A Special Occasions Permit (SOP) allows you to sell or serve alcohol for special occasions, such as private receptions, cash bars at weddings, as well as larger scale public events. A SOP is required any time alcohol is being served anywhere other than in a licensed establishment or ones private residence. Learn more here.

You will be providing the alcohol, serving ice, cups, as well as mixes and sodas. Once we know more about the creative vision behind your event, we will give you a shopping list based on your guest count and estimated consumption to ensure your vision becomes a reality.

To reserve Rosie, we ask for a 50% deposit along with a signed Event Guarantee Form. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your event date.

Rosie will travel the first 25 km free of charge, after which a fee of $1.00/km will be added to and from the event.

Absolutely! Rosie loves a fabulous wardrobe change, from balloons, flowers, garlands, personalized signage, exterior photo op backdrops, you name it Rosie loves to put on a show! We can work with you one on one, or you can connect us with your event planner to hash out the finer details and make your vision come to life!
